Meet
the Drag Queens
"This film will grab the “audience” and
will definitely both shock and entertain them." |

Sushi |
Sushi
One of the most talented and amazing drag performers on the
planet, Sushi was scorned and sent away by her mother as a
child for being gay; Sushi is the star of the film and is
the “Drag Mother” for the Key West Drag Queens. She is a
talented fashion designer who creates many of the costumes
worn by her and the other queens. She has long beautiful
legs and a body most women would die for. As the drag
mother, Sushi makes the rules that the other queens follow.

Gugi |
Gugi
Raised by a Puerto Rican evangelistic mother in Chicago, she
escaped what she describes as a life-threatening, abusive
relationship. A talented painter, artist, and performer,
Gugi brings her fiery passion to life in her performance.
She possesses unique wit and a wicked sense of humor. She
and Sushi live together with Sushi’s mom and other drag
queens in their “drag” house.

Destiny |
Destiny
A biker chick that was raised by her burlesque queen mother
in a trailer in Texas and sold to a biker gang as a youth,
her life story is full of real life drama and tragedy. A
tall, thin beauty who wears the highest heels imaginable,
she died tragically during the filming of this documentary.
Her spirit remains in Key West and her imprint is
everywhere. |

RV Beaumont |
RV
Beaumont
A creative poet and writer, RV has performed at Disneyland
and in many theatrical productions. Raised on a small farm
in the Midwest, RV, out of character, is definitely not
effeminate. He’s the one who runs the incredibly
entertaining bingo game every Sunday at the 801 Cabaret.

Samantha |
Samantha
The beautiful blond who’s called the “shy one”, she’s fast
becoming a rising star in the nightly shows at the 801
Cabaret. Tenderhearted, feminine, a self-described “girlie
girl”, Samantha offers makeup tips to real girls and is
learning to cook from Sushi’s Japanese mom, Nobi.

Gassy Winds |
Gassy
Winds
Gassy is the one in the fat suit. JB created his Gassy
persona and has written, directed, and acted in many stage
productions in New York. Gassy loves those early-morning
cocktails and continues pouring to keep the buzz alive
throughout the day. She has a great singing voice and does
the choreography for the club acts.
(Gassy has quit drinking – she’s now the designated driver
when the drag queens go out to party) |
